MEC Brown has held the position of the provincial Member of the Executive Council for Finance in the Free State Province since May 2019. MEC Brown holds a Bachelor of Management Leadership from the University of the Free State as well as a National Certificate in Financial Markets & Instruments from the University of South Africa. Prior to venturing into a political career, Brown had spent 12 years in a plethora of managerial roles within the South African banking sector.
