Lucien is Managing Director at Phukubje Pierce Masithela Attorneys (PPM). He focuses on the commercial and regulatory aspects of telecommunications, media, technology. He covers matters such as commercial transactions, satellite frequency-spectrum licence applications, information security, data protection and fintech. He deals with contentious and non-contentious aspects in these areas of law.

Lucien has represented and represents organisations such as ICASA, China Telecoms, Primedia, Afrox, SITA, Anglo American and a multinational cloud services provider on ICT and information security matters. Lucien sits on the Disciplinary Committee of South Africa’s Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors and is vice-president of the International Social Media Association.
