Tapiwa John obtained his LLB (Honours) from Midlands State University. In addition to being a registered legal practitioner of the High Court of Zimbabwe, Tapiwa is also duly registered as a Conveyancer and Notary Public. His areas of practice include Commercial and Corporate Law, Environmental Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law as well as General Civil Litigation.

Tapiwa has a great understanding of International Trade and Economic Law and the legal aspects surrounding International Business Transactions. He has written an in-depth commentary on Zimbabwe’s Investment Laws and is currently part of the firm’s team (together with a preeminent international law firm) assisting the Government of Zimbabwe in reviewing and analysing the legal, institutional and regulatory frameworks applicable to Zimbabwe, specifically from an International Investment Law and Dispute Resolution perspective.
