Taryn PURDON was appointed General Manager of the PFMS subsidiary Pierre Fabre South Africa (Pty) Ltd. on July 1, 2018. She is in charge of the operational activities of Pierre Fabre Medicament and the support functions of the Pierre Fabre South Africa. 

Taryn Purdon has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical Cell Biology from the University of the Witwatersrand (2002) and completed her training with a certificate program in Marketing Management at the University of the Witwatersrand Business School (2011).

Taryn Purdon began her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2003 as a sales representative and worked in the transplant/immunosuppressant market for three years. She then joined Merck as Oncology Product Manager and worked with the launch team, with the introduction of targeted monoclonal therapies. At the end of 2006, she joined Teva Pharmaceuticals as Neurology Business Unit Manager, a position she held before joining us in 2015 as Key Accounts Manager of Sales and Marketing within the Pierre Fabre Oncology Department of Pierre Fabre South Africa Pty. She then took on the position of Oncology Business Unit Manager within the South African subsidiary.
