A Pacific Islander born in New Caledonia, Dr. Valerie Morignat is the founder and CEO of Intelligent Story, a San Francisco-based consulting firm specialized in ethical AI design and responsible innovation. She is a global AI expert, design leader, educator, and author with cross-functional experience in business, government, and academia. A Tenured Associate Professor of Cinema and Interactive Arts (University of Montpellier, FR), Dr. Morignat spearheaded the development of post-digital aesthetics studies in France. She devised forward-leaning public policy reforms supportive of digital innovation and cultural inclusiveness, built international strategic partnerships, engineered research and education projects, and transferred high-value technology to the public sector.
In San Francisco, Dr. Morignat occupied executive positions in the healthcare, design, and technology sectors.
