Last December, the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) implemented a new “identity verification and multi-factor authentication” process for director amendments, challenging the traditional methods of company registration and compliance.

- Updating director passport numbers
- Updating director details and invalid SA ID numbers
- Process to validate a foreign passport (Foreigner Assurance)
